Himalayan Pink Salt contains 84 minerals, macrominerals, and trace minerals.

Wanna hear something crazy? I know you do. These are the same 84 minerals and trace minerals that your body needs to function properly.

For years we’ve all heard about how bad salt is for us, right? Well, Himalayan Pink Salt is good for you. I’m serious, folks. The salt that is bad for you is refined table salt. Unfortunately, even sea salt is becoming more and more refined. When salt is refined, everything that can possibly be beneficial to you and your health is taken away from it. Doesn't make much sense, does it? I mean, what's the point? Why take something that could actually be beneficial to you and purposely go through the trouble of making it bad for you?

Here's why Himalayan Pink Salt is the new health craze.

Himalayan Pink Salt has never been exposed to impurities or toxins of any kind.

Not only has it been buried underneath the Himalayan Mountains and has been completely protected from the elements for eons, but nothing has been taken away from it and nothing has been added to it.

    It is 100% pure.

Go figure, if we humans don’t go messing with what nature already provides for us, it can actually be beneficial to us. Some have claimed using pink salt is like sprinkling a little bit of magic on every plate of food.

Himalayan Pink Salt is also used externally by holistic therapists and spas. Pink salt is popular in forms of face and body scrubs, soaps, bath salts, and other topical products. Himalayan salts have many therapeutic properties and have been used to treat many ailments including acne and acne scars.

Himalayan salt has been buried deep in the Himalayan mountains for 250 million years. It is not refined, nor is it stripped of anything, or mixed with additives. It is 100% natural.

It is the purest salt on the planet and actually brings with it many health benefits.

The Top Benefits of Himalayan Pink Salt

1. Lowers Blood Pressure. Yup, I know, you’re used to hearing that salt raises blood pressure. Too much refined salt can definitely be harmful but Himalayan Pink Salt has actually been proven to stabilize AND help reduce blood pressure.

2. Natural Detox Agent. Pink salt removes toxins and heavy metals from the body.

3. Prevents Muscle Cramps. This is very useful for anyone who suffers from muscle cramps (like me).

4. Increases Libido. Come on, what’s not totally awesome about that?!

5. Reduces Acid Reflux and Balances pH Levels

6. Helps Metabolism Run Swift and Smoothly

7. Strengthens Bones

8. Improves Circulation and Overall Vascular Health

9. Helps the Intestines Absorb More Nutrients

10. Prevents Goiters

11. Reduces the Signs of Aging

12. Treats and Prevents Acne and Other Skin Conditions

Himalayan Pink Salt has also been shown to help with many other ailments such as ear infections, headaches, foot fungus, motion sickness, menstrual cramps, sore throats, digestive issues, and many more.

I encourage you to do your own research and find out why you should dump the white salt and start using the pink stuff.

THINK PINK

Here’s How Other Salts Add Up

Table Salt

Forget about it. This salt has been stripped of all of it’s minerals and even it’s iodine. Anything and everything that is beneficial is taken out of it. You want to know how? It’s cleaned with bleach. Yup, you heard me. It is chemically washed with bleach and is heated at very high temps. Then if the iodine is put back into it (it often isn’t), it is most likely a synthetic iodine. Yes, you read that right. They take the real iodine out of it… and then put synthetic iodine into it. Ugh. Anytime I hear synthetic, I just want to scream. Our bodies are not meant to ingest synthetic properties.

We are human beings, not garbage cans. Our bodies cannot process synthetic materials.

Sea Salt

Sea salt is really not that much better than table salt. It is the lesser of the two evils, but it’s still not the best choice. Unfortunately, sea salt is becoming more and more processed. But that isn’t even my own personal biggest concern. I just can’t get past the fact that every year our seas are becoming more and more polluted. Not just with the continued oil spills and garbage dumping, but also the nuclear waste that finds it’s way into our waters. Now that REALLY scares me. I couldn’t even process the whole Fukushima nuclear disaster. Over 800 tons of radioactive material poured into the Pacific Ocean. My God, I don’t want to eat anything that comes from the Pacific Ocean… like ever.

Where Do You Get Himalayan Pink Salt?

Fortunately, you can get Himalayan Pink Salt almost anywhere nowadays. It used to be a lot harder to find, and a lot more expensive, but today it is available everywhere and very affordable. Most of the larger grocery chains carry it and of course the health stores. You can even find it on the shelves at Wal-Mart and Target. You can almost always find pink salt at Marshall’s, T.J. Maxx, and Home Goods (you'll probably find the best prices at these three stores).

I FOUND THIS PINK SALT GRINDER AT TARGET.

You will most likely find it in the form of a salt grinder but sometimes you’ll get lucky and find it in the fine granulated form. But of course if you shop online, you can find any kind that your little heart desires. Amazon is a good site but there are dozens.

I FOUND THIS FINE GRANULATED PINK SALT AT MARSHALL'S. THE FINE SALT IS GREAT FOR SIMPLY SWAPPING OUT YOUR TABLE SALT AND FILLING THE PINK STUFF UP IN YOUR GOOD OL' FASHIONED SALT SHAKER.

Make the switch and do something good for your health. If you’re going to use salt, why not use the stuff that’s actually good for you?
